clashed one of mine tonight, it dented. One big smash later and it was a goner. I'm not overly convinced these are as solid as it's predecessors.

I don't know about the air but I have HX800 Control.
My main racquet is Brave Sword 12 and Nanoray 900 as secondary. In terms of balance, HX800C is similar to BRS12. but the hitting feel is very different. HX800C has more solid feeling and it definitely feels head heavier. when it hits the spot, HX800C makes punch smash. that is why every in my club said my smash got more punch. I felt more flex on smash and hard return, Maybe because of more weight on the head. I had to be more prepared than Bravesword 12.Also I had to have some time to get used HX800C, I really don't know why. it feels and swings differently. I don't know if I am doing it wrong, but my first impression was..."hm..." now it hits perfects and gives punch smash. now BRS 12 feels very lighter. HX800C Also has fantastic vibration absortion. I am feeling somewhat muted compared to bare feel BRS12

I don't know why hx 800C feel heavy although it's 4U. Sold it last week and go for a lighter 4U :)

Yesterday I have been playing some competition matches with the HX800 Control 3U. For this season I have been using a set of normal HX800 3U racquets. Comparing the two. The Control version has more feel, nice and solid on impact. The head seems alot more heavy when swinging it. Clears are easy and I can smash harder with the Control version compared to the normal HX800 which seem to miss some head weight for decent smash power.

All in all suprised, I like it alot. The Power version is also in the bag, but it takes more effort to get the best out of it. I see some
similarities with the Thruster TK9000 and TK6000. Everybody is raving about the TK9000 and for me, the older guy, the TK6000 was the perfect racquet. Now with HX800 Control I seem to combine the power of the TK6000 with the speed of de Hypernano HX800 :)

Inspired by military helicopter, multi-layered structure made by carbon fiber and composites, minimize material size, reinforce handling feel and performance at a critical standard. if that's the case, i'm all for hardcored tech

Got my 3U HX800P yesterday and played with it today. Was playing with 3U VT80 before this and struggling with my backhand. With the P everything seems just right. Accuracy is better than the VT80. Feel is very much satisfying when the shuttle leaves the stringbed.

Strung with Yonex BG66UM at 25lbs

A few months in using the 4u 800 Power, this thing drops some serious bombs. I was playing with a relatively new playing last night against an experienced pair. Everytime I hit a smash, she'd jump out of her skin because of the noise.

I have to colour match, orange will never go in a blue and yellow racquet. I have Lin Dan Yellow BG80 in it.

Tk9000 or hx800P? What do you guys think? In terms of everything; smash, clear, drive, drop, etc etc?

I've had both, the 800P has a faster head than the 9000, that doesn't mean I'm not really excited to get my hands on the TK9900

What strings / tension and what is your "wet weight" weight with strings, grip etc? I am really struggling with power on mine, feels almost glass-like, like its too stiff but with no repulsion...weird. Previous rackets BS11 and Adi Zero Pro
