Mine were strung at 28/30lbs. Never gave that kind of trouble though.

Tbh I've rarely seen stringer faults causing this type or linear cracks though. And now we've seen a few examples of the same issue from different sources and distributions. I'm leaning towards the product being the problem more than it being the stringers.

honestly, im quite disappointed with the quality, have been a huge supporter of victor products for many years, but i can vouch for the shoes still, shoe durability is superb and i have never torn any victors shoes (can't say the same for Yonex)

Glad i am not the only one. I bought 3 Voltric 80 PG 4u before and still like them as I first loved them. I got an MX80 and it's such a pain to get a spare. Will probably hv to change eother to MX90 or HX800 Ltd Power 4u. Hence why i am in this forum.

Got lucky with the MX90. Just found one recently.

You could but they're nothing alike IMO.

I am guessing you have experience with both?
Would you be willing to elaborate a little?

They've got different head shapes to start. The frame profiles are very very different as well. 800P has a stiffer shaft (marginal but definitely noticeable). Both have different feels with shuttle contact on the string bed, 800P has some numb disconnect while the 900 feels much better and more direct. I attribute the different feel to the different frame shapes IME.

Both have weird sweetspot sizes, 900 has a small but conventional shaped sweetspot whereas the 800P one I found was just weird (tbh idk how to even word it).
