CH is as good as LD. As I said before, LD is more willing to face PG in SF than CH. If CH is not tired he can win. Unlucky.

Anyway, still lots of chances for CH. Gear Up!

Even though CH is older than LD at 27, he is definitely not "over the hill".

For those of you who saw how he played vs LD - even after beating much tougher opponents on his way to the semis, it is clear that he still has what it takes to beat anyone out there, be it LD, LCW, PG, TH, etc.

Besides, how many players can claim to have a win-loss record of 5-5 vs LD?

Well people used to say things like :

    1) One dimension game

    2) Easily rattled

    3) No variety

    4) WeaK defence

I think its all past, with the new badminton I think CH can even get better

I just found the CH vs TH and CH vs PG matches on video.google.com

There is no need for any of the threads about why did TH lose or why did PG lose. Simple answer is that CH played fantastic badminton. His smashes were very powerful and his net play was very tight (especially against players renowned for their net play). That coupled with some confidence made him an awesome player during this World Championship. Shame he ran out of juice against LD.

I would have prefered TH or PG to have gone through, but CH has gone up a lot in my opinion. Also from an age point of view PG is 30. So CH still has at least 3 years (hopefully with no injuries) to win some more tournaments.

totally agree with you tubby !

He peaked in this tournament and is in his form of his life. Too bad he had to face three of the best players in the world in three days.

I would love to have all these alleged shortcomings and be ranked in Top 10 for the last 5+ years. :p
