If by any stroke of luck Korea steals a point in the first 3 matches, they can still take a gamble in the 2nd doubles. Naming a third singles player is merely a formality.

- Park Joo Bong and Li Mao sure are doing wonders. Jun Jae Yun was a much better player than Gong, light on her feet, calm, great racquet skills , just as good is Sheo who managed to trap Zhang Ning several times (only 19!) The Hwang and Lee were really better players (pair) than Yang and Zhang. I think the next Uber Cup will be close.
