anybody know how can I get badminton broadcast in US for like Thomas Uber cup. Like satallite or something. I know my cable company won't cover it. I live in Boston. Hong
unfortunately, you won't find any. many of us in the US have wondered and seeked but they are not available, period. best chance is to find webcast, but even those are hard to find. there was one on the other day from malaysia, but they stopped broadcasting.
how about starting one Hi, Kwan. I've talk to you before. that is what I thought. anybody come up with other ideas of sharing badminton videos, I am sure you all have some. If we digitiz it say in DV format. can we setup the server and share them online. Hong
that has been tried before. unfortunately, the cost is phenomenal. somebody set up a server before and if i remember correctly, the bandwidth hit the region of 3-4 Terabytes/month. he eventually resorted to paid subscription but somehow that didnt' work out. there is no way BC/BF can afford that amount of bandwidth.
movies why cant anyone put upp a fast speed server where you can upload and download badminton movies, that should not be so hard, I can do that but I dont have any badminton movies now, but if people upload then everybody can share.
there are some ppl sharing videos via emule: http://www.badmintonforum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=12967 but for the rest of us, fast server with lots of bandwidth costs money. if you have a fast server, maybe you can donate some bandwidth to the badminton community...
