    Hello from NYC

    Greetings all,
    Great site!
I used to play badminton quite a bit HS thru college but life got in the way and I stored my Cab8 and Cab20 in the closet. I haven't played in 15+ years and I'm itching to start again. Did some internet searching and found this very cool site!:) I must say the posts here have been very helpful in researching the new racquets out there as well as finding out where to play in NYC.
Hope that ol' Cab20 (and my bones!) holds up before my new racquet gets here!

    Welcome to BC/BF!!!

Where in NYC area you plan to play? Maybe we can schedule a game together, if you don't mind to play down to my lowly standard.

Haven't started playing yet - still dusting off that racquet. :D
I haven't played in 15+ years so I'm probably back to beginner status.
Most likely I'll join up with NYC badminton and first do a training session or two to recondition myself to the court and racquet.
    But I'll play ya!

Sorry to get back to you late on this. I believe you replied in another thread saying you went to NYCB on 1 of sunday sessions. Hope you like the place/game there.

So far, NYCB is the only place in manhatan you can get to on sunday, with fairly large crowd and competitive games. ;)

I tried their training session to get back into the swing of things. The crowd was indeed large and the play competitive. I'm looking for something more low key so I'm note sure that they fit what I'm looking for :(
