We are going to the World Championship in Tokyo in August 2022. Here I am looking for places for my son to train. He is 13 years old (top 50 in Denmark in his age group). Does anyone know of a badminton club, coaching or academy for English speaking in Central Tokyo? Many thanks
I am not located in Tokyo and have no idea, but you can try the following sites. Rather than training, it is probably a matter of playing doubles: Tokyo Badcox - International Badminton Club (東京都, 日本) | Meetup Badminton - Tokyo Gaijins One other point is that Japan is currently not permitting tourists to enter the country. Here's hoping that this will change before August, but there is no guarantee of this happening.

Not a bad idea! A couple of cons are that he is based in Kyushu, a large island south of the main island of Honshu, and doesn't come cheap. A badminton coach search site is available at BADMINTON COACH/コーチとプレーヤーをつなぐマッチングサービス (badminton-coach.net). But the information is all in Japanese.
