    I understand. But I still feel you're not supposed to hold your racquet up at the net area to block your opponent before he plays his shot.

    Like you say,the solution is for the opponent to follow through with the racquet and collide with the party's racquet, even breaking it or deforming it, just so to make the umpire incline to call it a fault. The problem is most players aren't that aggressive as to intentionally clash the two racquets, not a natural instinct for most people to do that, I think.

    He just wanted to take his well-deserved break after the Olympics, and he missed his son terribly. For all his accomplishments and contributions to CBA, that's his entitlement or privilege, just like Lin Dan was allowed to take a long break post-LOG'12.

    Seems like nerves got to the Japanese at the end.. oh well Liu/Wang deservedly won anyways. The jpn pair were never a match to them

    I see. Yes, he definitely deserves a break. I hope he is back for the WC though. The WC won't be the same without all the top players there :)
