I always thought Tsai and Honderich played very positive games...
    They're actually not that bad.

They won against GER with MS3, so they will qualify.

What happens if Chinese Taipei beats IND and Thai beats Algeria?

That was a surprising result but Malaysia has never had a strong uber cup team

Yes but players will want to be careful. There will be 6 tournaments in next 7 weeks which will be considered big money tournament in todays circumstances, I wouldnt want to get injured over team matches (i'm sure Ginting and Kevin is pacing themselves with their strappings and injuries). I wonder why there are so many injuries in Japan camp?

There are huge injuries 4-5 to start this tournament which are nasty injuries. You wonder how many will not make it to DO next week.

A wake up call for INA Thomas Cup team in their mission to bring back the prestigious men's team trophy, sparks concerning sign for their leading players who contributed flop performance yesterday...

The nail-biting opening match between recent Olympic bronze medalist against Basel World Championships bronze medalist displaying high intensity of this tie. It's declining form of Anthony Ginting after Tokyo OG completion, Wangcharoen plays excellent badminton who responds well all his opponent shots with superb defense including his rival forte, tight net play. Then Gideon/Sukamuljo displayed so casual and sluggish mood, don't representing their world #1 status completely, less impressive in first and second game despite the Minions exhibit true color in decider to implement fast flat exchanging shots and stronger smashes. Thai wonder kid continues to spring upset, thanks to his relentless determination, dictating the pace in entire match against 2018 AG gold medalist. From 14-11 to 14-21 Christie self confidence tumbled as the Indonesian entered into his rival entrapment, follow Vitidsarn rhythm.

Another close battle also involving strong favourite Denmark who streched by German team, 3-2 who gave a scare, 2-1 lead earlier as Astrup/Rasmussen and second MS Rasmus Gemke lost to their lower ranked opponents, Lamsfuss/Seidel and Fabian Roth respectively. Group B conclusion match is really interesting to watch as the Danes will take on tricky challenger KOR tomorrow.

You meant INA? If that happens we will start counting the H2H, the scores etc to decide the group winner and runner up among the 3 countries.

JC's brother passed away from covid while both of his parents were in hospital.. with covid. JC had to arrange the funeral himself. His level of play is, understandably, not where it used to be, but maybe being on court helps him get his mind off those things for a little while.

And also Zhang Wen Yu. At 19 yrs old, she showed great composure against Line Kjaersfeldt, more of a control than attacking player with good shuttle control.

Jonathan needs screaming female fans at the stadium to play at his peak.
    :)
Just kidding. But he did not play well since the start of 2020. He was doing well up until the beginning of Olympic qualification

Malvika has skills but lack strength . She need t0 shift her base to National academy instead of training in Pune. Otherwise, she will be average.

GreysiaApriani is rested which i expect. Better to be ready in QF or DO. Chances are slim anyway if they play Japan China Korea.
