Yeah, the Olympics was probably cursed by the unhappy Japanese citizens who weren't happy with the decision of going through with the event from the Government.

Beating yamaguchi is extremely difficult. She is just like a small football rolling all over the court.

What a sweet revenge for Yamaguchi !

She was completely distraugh two years ago, crying her heart out on the podium and pointed by Park JB as the reason for Japan defeat. She really delivered today! A few wild smashes but most of her defense and attack was very accurate

Akane has one very important weapon that Okuhara does not have, which is her jump smash. That's the reason she can compete with TTY and CYF, where okuhara often feels powerless.

If Momota somehow create a miracle and beat SYQ. JPN might have a chance if Higashino is on form!

Yes. But she lacks power. She got lucky this Olympics. But in fact, I hope Gill can confirm whether she is the only one who won Olympics without winning a World championship title in the history?.
She struggles against certain players consistently. Her draw really helped her.

Momota is looking tired, he has to rely on skills and finesse

    YESSSS AKANE WONNNNN
    Congrats Akaneee!!!!!

Anyway, I think that Sudirman cup becomes more interesting when the best players don't play
The nerves, luck, and randomness make the game exciting
