A close shave for both INA and CHN as they first trailed 1-2 yesterday, before taking the tie 3-2. Both have to rely on their WD and XD.
As predicted, the Minions, Greysia/Apri and Jordan/Melati will likely be played & have to win every match from QF onwards.

    INA v DEN, 3-2.
It's not best performance by the The Minions but this established world number one still could handle DEN scratch pair at the end who displayed good attacking style plus counter attack and combined with solid defense. A respectable feat by new debutant Putri KW who took one game off against Blichfeldt as the Dane seems out of her offensive element in game 2. Then Anthony Ginting looked hypnotized yet surprised to face the more aggressive Antonsen rather than tactical plan with long rallies, the Indonesians still did his old habit to contribute many cheap points as impact of unnecessary errors. WD & XD did their job as expected and securing group winner position.

    CHN v THA, 3-2
This result exploits China weak link in men's category, they will relying heavily on three sectors to defend the trophy. Bizarre MD match with three lopsided games, He/Tan had convincing start to smash their opponent then suddenly their consistency, level of play waned quickly in next two games. CHN trump card Chen Yufei levels the scoreline fastly to outclass Busanan Ongbamrungphan. Then the most stunning outcome arrived in MS, three-time WJC Kunlavut Vitidsarn stole the limelight to prove his bright talent, outmaneuvers Shi Yuqi who looks frustrated when Vitidsarn could anticipate and read well his pattern, answers almost all his cross court smashes plus marvelous netplay that slowly but sure has ruined Shi confidence, mental aspect speaks volume in this match. Fortunately for CHN camp, their WD & XD are in their beast mode to outplay their opponents.

Not sure if I missed something but where is Chae Yu Jung? SSJ will now be playing the next game with Shin Seung Chan for XD.

Compared to TPE, KOR is superior in MD, WS and WD, so I think it's reasonable to rest CYJ. SSC also played XD before with Choi, and has better attack than Chae when being pushed to the back.
They even fill Kong & LSH, both are backcourt players lol

The cameraman shot too much to the coaches in stead of players.

Oh, this is badminton but It seems to be a India movie.

The cameraman just shot at the face of 4 players and two coaches after EVERY point.

While the sound picked up from the court is excellent, the sound quality / effect (echo and artificial surround sound-like) of the commentator is annoying as hell. Hope they can rectify that for the knock-out stage.

All studios in Finland turned down this effin director's proposals for a finnish nouvelle vague film and we get to experience the depths of his frustrations through countless cuts, camera angles and extreme close ups. Let's pool together and hire some Finnish goons online to beat him up.

Expecting Kisona to beat Akane is like climbing Mt.Everest without oxygen cylinders.

Momota takes the first set 21-18 against LZJ making a comeback from 0-6! We're slowly seeing his confidence coming back

Shaky first set from Mo, his touch had deserted him at times. Start of this second set he looks back to his old self almost.
