I didn't watch this whole set, but did Du & Li use their challenges smartly for this set?

The umpire is entirely correct to tell them that they have used up their challenges. And if Du & Li didn't use their challenges smartly during this set, it's their fault. I see a lot of players that use up the challenges on calls that obviously will go against them. Not sure if this applies to Du & Li this set but you need to use your challenges smartly and not waste them on line calls that you know will obviously go against you.

 

Yeah. No rubber. Lucky. Send a message to bwf president to fix this. Maybe give wd faster shuttles to help in their smashing and get on with it.

I'm shocked to hear it from him, does he think the Chinese should've kept playing even when get cramped and hit in the nose like yesterday?

 

FukuHiro played a bit too conservative but the tactics were right and got the job done.
