No. World Cup is a different tournament. One of the confusing things about world badminton around the 1980’s

I've noticed some variations since Indonesia Open. She's toned down her aggressive style and hence the lack of smashes. I agree this was TTY's match. She's found out loopholes in Sindhu (h2h shows) but credit to Sindhu for her never say die attitude.

Today was a much better day for Indian fans than yesterday.
HS Pronnoy lost, Srikanth lost and Saina lost despite winning the first set.
I read she took injections to play in the WC. Last one or two years, Saina has not been as consistent as before. I hope she comes back fitter and stronger. She can still play a few more years easily.

And what's with all the S.Korean coaches? I guess they are doing a good job. But what happened to the previous coaches?
Anyone knows who are the coaches at Gopichand Academy?

This is the first time I seen it. That’s gross incompetence.

Cramp already after only 110 minutes of play. She is clearly lacking stamina

Go Taka/Matsu. I'm fed up watching people tending a cramped leg or foot.

Mulyo Handoyo and Tan Kim Her left India. Korean coaches Park Tae Sang and Kim Ji Hyun handle singles and INA coaches Flandy Limpele Namrih Suroto handle doubles. Gopichand has too much load to handle singles on his own.

Yeah watched it yesterday. Didn't that happen twice?
Jia yifan looked so helpless explaining the dumb umpire yet looked so cute while doing it. Like a lil baby playing dumb-charades
