Really not looking good for Lin Dan, not quite what I expected, esp the kind of errors he's making now and then. Is he going to lose just like that, uneventfully ?

If LD doesn't change his game and Holst has enough stamina it's the end for LD...

Lin Dan saves 4 match points, catching up from 15-20 to 19-20 BUT it's too late AND Holst closing the first game 21-19

Emil , playing under no pressure simply thunders his smashes when Lin Dan lifts and it's working for him, close to the line.

That's what I'm thinking too. Lin Dan really got to step it up, and cut down those errors.

Good lead 7-2 to Lin Dan. He will force third set, I believe.

I think Lin Dan realizes he has to work harder for his points with Emil defending so well, can forget about conserving energy so early in the match or tournament, every single one of his opponents are much younger than him.

Lin Dan should've played like that in G1 and not waste energy having to play a three-setter

Did i read it right?, at the change over Lin Dan seems to be saying ''i am alright, i know what i am doing'' gesture,
as a result the coaches beat a retreat.

Agreed, he seems to have lost impetus, what i've found from him and Leverdez yesterday is they have no respect for reputation,
hence they are gunning it from the start, with Leverdez he sustained it, lets see if Holst has the class.
