dassad, looks like you'll have to find and get the tickets from scalpers if you want to watch LD & the latter rounds..if that is the case, hopefully you won't have to shell out a lot of RMBs..
yes it's all sold out already, even first rounds. unfortunately I went to sleep 2 hours before it's opened may be it's not so badly prices, i am more worried about where and when looking for these scalpers
..are you going?..if you are, and they won't sell them at the ticket booth on the competition week, then most likely you will have to get them through scalpers..good luck!
the 3rd-phase is the last phase and all of badminton tickets had been sold out at first day 2010-05-20.
Loh and me have at the last minute planned a trip to Guangzhou from 17 to 22 Nov. We have got everything else booked, except for the tickets. Li Dequan has helped us ask around and the going price now is about 2 to 3 times the face value. Loh has also asked the Singapore Sports Council if there are any other avenues. We are awaiting the outcome. I think we are prepared to contribute to the scalping industry in Guangzhou. The worst scenario is that we end up without tickets and reduced to sightseeing.
The last consolation I have is at December will be Hong Kong Open and i will be half a hour walking from there. I hope all greats will play there...
..for those who are going, if you guys can't get any tix, you guys can always head on over to one of the mega malls and just watch the proceedings and action on one of their large jumbo-tron screens.. *i can't imagine how much they'll charge for any of the Finals match or even the MS Final (should LD enter); i know the last time for the 2008 OG MS Final, i've seen someone charged well over RMB6500 per ticket!!..
Thanks...they told me the security is very tough there...been advised to arrive Shenzen and take bus or train, not directly go to GZ from HKG...anyway....I am going there to collect "something" and give " something"..haha..
LI De Quan, welcome back!...for your offer, if you can contact Hau-ge (huangkwokhau), he might be interested..
