    Hi Guys,

I'm returning to badminton after a long time and I sold off my rackets a long time ago.

I want to try out three new rackets to find out what kind of racket would suite me now becasue I can't remember much about what I had before and I'm not sure what new rackets are out now.

I have high swing speed and normally have no issue clearing. I play doubles mostly. My favourite of course as many is to smash, and I used to have a powerful smash(not trying to brag :) just trying to find the right racket)

My old favourtie Racket was Yonex NANORAY Z-SPEED

    I was thinking

    1.) VOLTRIC Z-FORCE II
    2.) ASTROX 66
    3.) NANORAY Z-SPEED

And recomendations are welcome, I want to try out 3 rackets and then sell them locally.

    thank a lot.

AX88D or 88S, D is head heavier. 3U/4U depends on your level

    If you look on Yonex

    1. Astrox 99/88D for the hammer racket
    2. Nanoflare 700/800 if you want speedy racket
    3. Duora 10/ZS for its unique 2 side frame.

Astrox 88d. You'll never go wrong with this.

Funy how, what I thought was good was not recomended by anyone, just goes to show how out of touch I am with this sport, I've been reading a lot.

Will you guys still recomend the 88D over the Astrox 100zz ?

i can understand the ZF2 the super hammer & NR ZS for super speed, tho im not quite get it on why you choose AX66. But the 2 super are kinda old, tho if you like it & able to find one, theres nothing wrong with any of it.

For 100ZZ many say its perform more on control but not on power. Maybe 100ZZ will fit between the hammer & speed. But for the hammer itself 88D/99 still the beast in current lineup (ZF still the big boss for total hammer tho)

ZF2 is an all time great racket but my current go to weapon is 88D.
    It's really really good.

both is my main racket zf2 4U and ax88d 3U.

both have similarities but totally different in hands, sometimes is hard for me to pick which the first one to be played with.

many positive reviews was shared in BC who love yonex stiff HH racket. it's like a must try or have as collection for enjoying badminton experience as hobbies.

you'll never go wrong with both racket, except your level or playing style or pocket aren't suitable with it. :)

Good choice. As for me, i have a HH, slightly HH, and balanced racket so i can pick which one to use according to mood and or opponents.

But yeah if you're looking to smash em all, I'd go with those 2 too. Enjoy

Many Years ago when I stopped playing I used nanoray zspeed 4u if I remember right. what is your recommendation because you use two different wieghts for these rackets ? Is there a reasons you have 3u and 4u ?

Mine is Victor Bravesword 12 old color (blue), its control and maneuverability are just insane. There are die hard fans of this racket.

In Yonex, you can get Nanoflare 2020 limited edition, a beauty. Or a jack of all trades, Arcsaber 11.

In regards of 3u 4u, some rackets are so stiff or head heavy, you may want to get a lighter version, 4u, for better maneuver while playing doubles.

I had the ZF I 3U long time ago and found it to be a bit tiring and changed to ZFI 4U, So I guess for the ZFII I will go for the 4U also, but what about the 88D, any recomendations?

Considering that you used the Nanoray Z Speed before, one recommendation I hopefully would say that the Nanoflare 800 (Even-balanced btw). It is a good racquet that is somewhat close(?) to the Nanoray Z Speed. Get it if you want to have a racquet that is similar to the Nanoray Z Speed (Although it has a very thin frame).

But if you are looking to head-heavy rackets, I am sure many people are giving recommendations for them. :)

Mine is 4u. I consider myself strong enough so i was a bit skeptical when a friend was offering me 4u. But i never looked back, it's still very powerful and also great for defense.

    Just an Update Guys, I bought three Rackets;

    Astrox 100zz 4U G5 UM66 28/26Lbs
    ZFII 4U G5 UM66 28/26Lbs
    Astrox 88D 3U G5 AS 26/25 Lbs

I will compare all three and keep two or maybe even 1, For now I have only used the 100ZZ and I dont like it so much. Will update here once I have tried out the other two and let you guys know which one is my favrouite.

Once I have the hammer down, later I will try to find a good speed racket for doubles.

Thank you all for your advice!

Hey Special Thanks to Bobby and Derpington who recommended I go for the 3U 88D, I feel its lighter than my 4u ZFii.

Here are all of them together now I'm waiting for my Yonex 2020 LTD back pack to put them in :)
