++ If LCW had withdrawn after draw made, need to pay the penalty fee (USD 200 right?). THen will have more criticism.;)

Datuk is a professional player;)...another US$15K contribution to the kitty never hurts, esp with the biggest threat LD missing in action. BTW, US$15K is about RM50K, now how many MAS citizen, professional engineer or what not included, can make that in a year, never mind in less than 1 week, also get to maintain WR1 is another RM45K per quarter freebie $$$ from BAM. Crazy to even think about withdrawing :D:p

Oops! The organizer is that cheap, eh?:D...now, what's the payout for first to QF crashers, that would be nitto then, the losers would have to hitchhike home:p On second thought, I forgot about this CJ chap, what's this fella doing here anyway? He should withdraw:p I have to edit to say "Datuk could add $8K to his retirement kitty" cos' there is no guarantee he will get past CJ.

From the history, CJ has not won any tourney without LD yet...it seems CJ has a burden if he is alone in tournament...lets see how he will prove to us this time..I am sure he will reach final to face LCW...

Assuming Datuk will beat TH (I think Datuk will), I agree with you that they will meet in the final. I recall Datuk beat CJ in one SS, that was so close and CJ made a huge mistake smashing the birdie out at the net...that game was CJ to lose. I would say it will be 50/50 this time, who's has the better form and importantly, the nerve...one player bomb in WC due to nerve, the other coming of WC as a finalist...interesting.

It would be quite disastrous if TH lost to DPY again. I guess TH tried hard to "revenge" -- just like LCW did in Malaysian GP Gold final.

Do you think the two old guys (TH and WCH) will get slaughtered by their in-prime opponents?

I think the head-2-head between LCW and CJ is something like 6:1 or 7:1. The only time CJ won is 08AE SF.

I think LCW will win and WCH may get whacked by CJ...

It's kind of a sad thing to watch WCH play nowadays... He always tries so hard, so concentrated, yet he has become just too slow to threat those young guns...:(

yep, all those young guns are too fast and too hot to handle for him though.
