    Looks like..

..the message content was updated; now showing the member's name instead of kwun's.
Also, kwun and the moderating staff can't be put in the Ignore list.

    .

    And it says:
Sorry kwun is a moderator/admin and you are not allowed to ignore him.

Yup, just like I told you all.

Hahaha, after so long, now only you all test it out.:D:D
And good pt on your posts 134, 136. In real life, the same type of insults, sarcasm, veiled or direct that has posted on BC have cost ppl to lose customers & jobs, etc. Or....... worse.

And there are people who have lost jobs or had to issue public apology in newspaper for sthing offensive they posted in their blog (this one is Msia example). ;)

But many BCers are here to say that their opinions are the only correct ones

But many BCers are here to say that their opinions are the only correct ones. :(:(:(
It's not the sharing of opinions, but insisting that his/her opinions are the absolute correct ones.

Have a read of this short thread:

Everywhere in all forums including BCDF...:p

Private Messages are really useful for buy n sell purposes:cool::). In fact, perfect:):D! Other off the air stuff are pretty cool too:):D.

However, unsolicited PMs (w/ subliminal negative vibe to it) are a nuisance:mad:, it's a surefire source for resentment:mad:, specially the destructive finger pointing:( and worst of all gossip mongers:( and groupies tirade conventions:(:rolleyes::crying::confused:!

sometimes PMs are the best way to solve (or try to solve) any differences rather than to air it in the forum, publicly..betta to take it in private, please!
..it's no longer called Private Messages if even the admin or mods can see/read it before we or the other party(ies) receive it;)...different case if we take it and fw it to admin/mods..

Was once assigned as network administrator (we had a 10 week rotation being N A) for the school's intranet...

Yes of course, the admin (not the moderators because they are usually assigned a lower level clearance) can read everything in everyone's PM if they wanted to:cool::(:cool::D. However, this seldom occurs, as it was in our case:):D. On occasion, the Headmaster would (for some reason) ask to retrieve someone's computer activities on a certain time of the day, week or month. No sweat! Because everything is logged including keystrokes erased or deleted (backspaced) prior to hitting the return (enter) button. No way to dump and purge anything that was already clicked even without hitting the return (enter) button:cool::(:cool::D.

yes. only administrator (ie. me) have the access level to look at the PMs. but there is no direct interface from the forum software so one would need to browse the database directly. i only do that when i get a serious PM abuse complaint from someone, like PM spam, or PM flames.

other than that, the policy is that PM is what it is: private.

Have just read your blog at BC.
