I am a little confused.. Whose the 3rd one on the main poster along with LD and SN... Gronya?(most probably) But she looks like Birgit M.. Its great to see LD and SN their as most of the countries features their own players on the posters.. Maybe because she is the defending champ and lots of IND living their who'll be supporting her on the top of their voice. And its needless to say why LD is their.. He is everywhere
I think they should have used Renuka veeran (just now read some article about Renuka) as well to promote their badminton since she has more records than Gronya. I think they have used gronya for her looks not b'coz she is the best from Australia.
You do make a funny correction but it's so true. The organizer understandably picked Gronya as the host's better representation of this event compared to, let say Leanne Choo... a quick browse in the internet will immediately give one a clue... Gronya simply has more balance though she isn't the best player of Oz. After all, Choo is not anything like the world's top ten.
Choo is surely better..(at least for me) But she isn't native ozy.. Gronya is doing better these days.. Its good to see her guys what's the big deal
