if it's game between schools it's for tournaments so they want best possible players. just do your best and make it to the team and win the regionals then go to OFFSA.
If you look at it in terms of how well you will do in the tournaments, then the rule is a bit unfair. Although, in a sense it's also good because ever since people found out about this, they started working harder with hopes of imporvement. In the long run, this is beneficial to players who wish to continue playing after high school as they will have faced challenges and hopefully learned strategies and techniques that make each individual a stronger player.
boing~. There's a new division now for ropssaa!! central =/... that's..: meadowavale Mississauga Mount Carmel Rick Hansen Gonzaga St. Augustine St.FX St. Jo's St.Marcellinus Streetsville The rest of the divisions are changed too i guess? if you wanna check what division you're in go on the ropssaa site
What division is John Fraser in? I don't like playing streetsville thank god there not in my division. bad experience....
Southwest...i don't think they'll be a probelm for you since glenforest isnt there and neither is woodlands ..unless you're a girl the only challenge would be holy name XD
the reason for the change in format from what i heard was because of unfair play in closed last year. don't quote me on this but, there are 2 national champs from outside of canada that came here recently and haven't been to a club, so they played in closed. and the coaches think it's unfair for this but there aren't any rules to make them play in open =s thus everything is being merged together in attempt to TAKE THEM DOWN. joking. haha but really. i also heard it wont be just double elimination because the coaches want people to have more fun since most won't even play after highschool. NOW. spread the rumours.
