    The First World Chinese Badminton Group Invitational Tournament 2009 is to be held in Shenzhen, China from June 27th to June 29th.Members of World Chinese Federation who are 25 years old in the year of 2009 and healthy are eligible to organize groups to compete.     yeah...those pictures are from 14th World Chinese Badminton Champion 2007....
    but the first World Chinese Badminton Group Invitational Tournament is to be held soon

    1. Organizer: World Chinese Badminton Federation
    2. Operator: Shenzhen Luohu Badminton Association

    6. Date: 27th to 29th June 2009
    7. Venue: Shenzhen Luohu Gymnasium
    8. Events: Mixed Team Event
    9. Age Groups: (The birth year will be taken as the criteria for the age, e.g. one who was born in 1959 is 50 years of age.)
    9.1 Professional Groups (retired professional player):
    9.1.1 Age 25 and above (retired over 2 years)
    Events: Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles,
    Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles.
    9.2 Nonprofessional Groups
    9.2.1 Age 25-34
    Events: Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles,
    Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles.
    9.2.2 Age 35-44
    Events: Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles,
    Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles.
    9.2.3 Age 45-54
    Events: Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles,
    Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles.
    9.2.4 Age 55 and above
    Events: Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles,
    Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles.

    10. Conditions of Entry
    10.1 Members of World Chinese Badminton Federation who are 25 years old in the year of 2009 and healthy are eligible to organize groups to compete.
    10.2 There is no limit on the number of players of each team. And each team could enter 1 team manager and 1 coach.
    10.3 No age group players are allowed to play over one event. Players of the higher age group could play in the lower age group events, but lower age group players are not allowed to play in the higher age group events.
    10.4 Only after 2 years of retirement should a professional player is allowed to enter the Professional Groups. Retired professional players who are above 40years old can enter non professional groups, but just 2 players are allowed to enter per team. Two retired professional players can not become partner to compete. The non professional players could enter the Professional Groups as well.
    10.5 Players are to carry their registration certificate with them in case of being checked to play. Players who haven’t registered could register when they are check in.
    10.6 All participants must be in good health condition and willing to participate in this tournament. The organizer should not be held responsible for any injury and sickness that happened during the tournament. (Except insuring unexpected injury insurance during the tournament unfriendly. )

    11. Methods of Competition
    11.1 The tournament, using grouping cycle and knockout system according to the entries situation of each age group.
    11.2 Adopt the newest Badminton Game Rules authorized by State Physical Cultural Administration.
    11.3 The first phase: Separate single round-robin system is adopted according to the entries situation. The second phase: Knockout system is adopted. Chief referee has the rights to adjust the competition sequence.
    11.4 Play sequence: Mixed Doubles, Women’s Singles (or Men’s Doubles), Men’s singles, Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles.
    [FONT=黑体]11.5 Players are to carry their valid certificates such as ID card, member card, passport, official card etc) during the tournament with them in case of being checked.[/FONT]
    11.6 Retirement and Dismiss ion
    Retirement: Any players who have injuries or other reasons should discontinue competition in the course of each event will be deemed as retirement. Any players who are 15 minutes late in each event will be deemed as retirement. After the last group played, the next group should be in the court within 10 minutes, beyond the period will be treated as retirement.
    Dismiss ion: In the competition, the players should obey the referee, have the objections should report through the site referee to chief referee, still have the objections, may raise the objections to the organization committee. Players or teams, no matter what reason causes the competition not to be able to carry on or interrupt competition, or refuses to enter the stage before the game and refuses to receive an award after game and so on last for 5 minutes (after consoling persuasive education ) will be deemed as dismiss ion. Once dismissed players or clubs have occurred, the organization committee has the rights to publish them.

    11.7 Rules of Competition, shuttlecock and clothing
    11.7.1 Rules of Competition: Adopt the newest Badminton Game rules authorized by Chinese Badminton Association and International Badminton Federation.
    11.7.2 Shuttlecock: SOTX V-03 for preliminaries, V-01 for finals
    11.7.3 Clothing: unified clothing is chosen by clubs themselves.

    12. Scoring system:
    12.1 The grouping match of the first phase (preliminaries)
    Scoring system to be played in all age groups should be 21points. A match is decided by one game, and both sides should change ends when
    a side first scores 11 points. The side which scores 21 points wins the game.
    12.2 The grouping cycle of the first phase should play 5 rounds.
    12.3 The match of the second phase
    Adopt the system of best two of three games to be played in all age groups should be 15 points. The side which scores 15 points wins the game.
    12.4 The match of the second phase
    The side which wins the 3 rounds firstly, wins the game.

    [FONT=黑体]13. Awards: The Top 6 players in each group event will be awarded. Where there are less than 7 players in a group, the number of players to be awarded will be subtracted by one.[/FONT]

    14. Entry and Check in
    14.1 All teams are required to fill out the Entry Form (Download Address: [FONT=黑体]http://www.sotxsports.com and www.lhsports.cn) and submit the form by the methods as follows:[/FONT]
    14.1.1 Deliver letters to Shenzhen Luohu Badminton Association before 20th May. The date of entry is subjected to the date of postmark.

    Submit before 20th May 2009 .Any entries will not be accepted after the deadline.

    14.2 All name lists of entries will be published on the official website and the federation website before 31st May 2009. The entrants who have objections of the entries should raise the objections before 10th June 2009 to the Organizing Committee. Any objections will not be accepted after the deadline.
    14.3 Alteration to the entries should not be accepted after the confirmation of the second submission. If there is any necessary alteration, the Organizing Committee must be informed one day before the Team Manager Meeting, Any alteration will not be made after the deadline.
    14.4 The entry fee for each event of each team is [FONT=宋体]¥[/FONT]600 RMB .
    14.5 All teams are required to check in on 26th June 2009. The Team Manager and Coach Meeting will be held in the Meeting Room of Luohu Gymnasium at 16:00 on the same day.
    14.6 The departure date is 30th June 2009.

    18. Other Information
    18.1 Those who haven`t received the invitation may contact us, via telephone, to provide the latest entry within the fixed time.
    18.2 Any player who is 10 minutes late after the calling should be deemed as automatic retirement.
    18.3 Where there are less than 3 entries in a given group, the event is to be cancelled. (Except Professional Groups)

    19. Matters not mentioned herein shall benotified separately by the organizer.
