Consistency is not a trademark of young players. Expect that.

If you work out how many losses lee&choong have before a win, you can tell this might be the one again.

These two guys go for several losses and then pop up for a win. Don't ask me why but I think they certainly do that all the time.

Yes, I think you may be right......I saw red stuff dripping out Tan Fook's mouth the other day........."the time has come, the vampires will strike..."

Whose blood will be next for Choong and Lee ?

The last 2 matches were completed. Jung Jae Sung/Lee Yong Dae beat Chew Choon Eng/Hong Chieng Hun 21-8, 22-20; while the veteran Malaysian pair Choong Tan Fook/Lee Wan Wah also won quite comfortably 21-18, 21-8. So, no Indonesian representative in the semi-final tomorrow.

Wow. Great day for Korea! Hwang Hye-youn is Korea's best but she has never proven herself internationally. She's been plagued with rotten draws and then has done the rest of the damage herself by losing matches where she should have the edge. Great to see her beat the odds finally. Tomorrow, she plays Yao Jie, who dropped a game to a Canadian yesterday!

Lee Yong-dae is proving very dangerous indeed in both kinds of doubles.

Great to see some mettle from an Indonesian woman in singles, too. Good run, Firdasari.
