Who would have thought Gu Juan could cause a major upset of the WR2 and top seed. Still, it's only the QF, Intanon R, should they both get to the final, will be a tough one for GJ. Nevertheless, great job. Keep it up, you might be able to do it, Gu Juan!

I only hope Gu Juan shows more confidence and concentration on court. She must not give away easy points. It's time for her to show she is of champion material!

The path is wide open now for Ratchanok since Saina lost.. I am 95% sure she will be the eventual winner...

So far INA players have won their ties.. The rest is also winnable, the hardest one maybe coming the Japanese girls..

I thought Jen Hao Hsu would win this one, seems like Sitthikom would prove me wrong.

MAS last men standing is fighting to justify their seeding, but the Korean is definitely not an easy meat..

After survived the last two nail-biting match, Wisnu won the first set comfortably over Prannoy. Let's see if he can bring the consistency to the second set..

After that near miss against Sindhu the last time in the MAS GPG (which caused us quite a few heartaches), this time Gu Juan went one better by taking a notable scalp in Saina Nehwal, probably her best achievement so far in her career; no doubt very encouraging and highly motivating for GJ going forward. Hope to see her in the top 10 soon. Jiayou! And kudos to her coach, Luan Jin.

Can't agree with you more. Caused me quite a bit of anxiety when she gave away a few easy points when ahead 19-15 in the decider. She may looked a cool cucumber most of the time but tended to lose focus occasionally. Right, time to prove she's really a top 10 player. If only this is the final.

Btw, I think Xing Aiying also showed promise when she took G2 from Intanon yesterday.

Wisnu Yuli Prasetyo continue his journey to Semifinal after beating HS Prannoy. I really hope Wisnu turns out become a good player unlike certain other three name Indonesia MS

other 3 name ? hayom, tommy, and who ?
wisnu is good, but his talent is limited. he has a mature game anyway.
if he wants to be a good top ten player, then, he has to improve his power.
