Bad fortune for Indonesia camp in this Premier event, following Ahmad/Natsir shocking defeat at first round, another Indonesian best hopeful Ahsan/Setiawan continued their negative trend, this time stunned by home back up pair Wang Yilu/Zhang Wen. As expected two big matches in MS category will draw attention this evening, Dane new star Viktor Axelsen will challenge home favourite Chen Long and second seed Jan O Jorgensen has former world number one Lee Chong Wei. Axelsen had tough battle to clear two HKG players, Wei Nan and Vincent Wong at previous rounds while Chen L breezed past his early rounds opponent. The Chinese trio start to find heavyweight opponent, Wang Yihan v TPE skillful Tai Tzu Ying, Li Xuerui v the in-form Sung Ji Hyun and Wang Shixian has the toughest hurdle to go further, none but remarkable Carolina Marin. On paper scenario, Li Xuerui has better chance to secure semifinal spot than her two compatriots. The unexpected result surged Men's Doubles department when top two seeds were sent packing at same stage by local boys. Former World Junior Champion, Li JH/Liu YC stopped Lee YD/Yoo YS winning streak while their teammate Wang YL/Zhang W stunned reigning world champion Ahsan/Setiawan earlier. LIVE TV (court 1, 05.00pm local time) matches : 1) Chen Long (CHN) v Viktor Axelsen (DEN) 2) Chris Adcock/Gabrielle Adcock (ENG) v Liu Cheng/Bao Yixin (CHN) 3) Hirokatsu Hashimoto/Noriyasu Hirata (JPN) v Chai Biao/Hong Wei (CHN) 4) Misaki Matsutomo/Ayaka Takahashi (JPN) v Amelia Alicia Anscelly/Soong Fie Cho (MAS) 5) Saina Nehwal (IND) v Nozomi Okuhara (JPN)
just as I predicted, all MAS player except LCW & WD Amelia Alicia Anscelly/Soong Fie Cho (never expect they made it) failed to past R16, especially the MD department, Koo/Tan no need to command as I already know their fate there, only not cool is GVS/TWK, who recently change their own chinese character name (in order to change their luck) supposing can beat the Danes BoMo when they got 1st game win, but then in 2nd game they started making classical mistakes, thus made BoMo have the chance to win it and then end the match in rubber...
today a lot of mouth watering encounters.... any predictions for today's match ... a lot of tight matches ...
Quarter Final for Thaihot China Open 2015 Women's Single: Out of 8 placing, 7 are seeded players with only Ratchanok been beaten by Nozomi in the first round. Many good matches in today women's single category. Nozomi vs Saina NEHWAL H2H :0 :3 I definitely hope Nozomi can end Saina unbeaten record here. Vote for Nozomi here! TAI Tzu Ying VS WANG Yihan H2H : 4: 2 With Tty winning the latest past 3 encounter. I hope she can continue her winning record against WYH in this open. Bt a close call for this game. A 35-65 game in this.. hope can see a unexpected result for this. last BT nt least hope japan MD Endo and hayakawa can win their first MD superseries open as it seem Their best chance already...
my guess nozomi over saina wyh over tty lxr over sung marin over wsx CL over VA Son over youngster hu yun over LD lcw over jorg
Hu Yun couldn't win the set against LD when he was 20-13 up.....He will defeat him in China,hahahahahahahaha.....
I think it's no good for either Lin Dan or Lee CW to avoid each other too often, they have to test each other out once in a blue moon to avoid surprises on the big occasions. Furthermore, LCW is back to fine form, if LD doesn't step up his game, the outcome is not as clear cut as most would expect. If I were LCW, this is the best time to play LD, a victory, even if LD is nowhere near his best, will be a huge psychological boost. As for LD, it's better for him to find out how good LCW is at or near his best in his present age, the better to prepare for their future important encounters.
