I understand what you're trying to say, no problem, but I know Lin Dan well enough to see it for what it really is, that's my prerogative. Do you think JOJ and CTC played worse than Srikanth ?

Never too young to learn NOT to be arrogant and overconfident and trying to give all sorts of excuses in defeat. :D:p:)

Golden day for Indian badminton. Cricket crazy media, you better take notice of this. Sorry to say but only Saina will get adequate footage, if at all. India needs more wins like these! Proud of you Saina / Srikanth.

i am not at all posting here on the basis of who played how good, i haven't even saw joj or ctc play in this tournament. .i am simply saying, you have to give the credit where the credit is due. .winner takes it all.

Srikanth deserves it for seizing the golden opportunity offered by Lin Dan when he is not fully fit, the rest from R1, Hsu JH, JOJ, Sho S and Chou TC came near but it was not to be for them.

As I've said before the start of the tournament that anyone from the 1st round can upset him here when all the elements come together at the right time for the right person, and it happens to be Srikanth, congratulations to him.

Today's simply the great day for both Saina and Srikanth, esp. Srikanth for defeating the de facto best MS in the final at the opponent's own homecourt, and the very first one, so it's extra sweet, they just play better today, period! There's day for everything.

I wonder whether srikanth will get attention in indian media. Today when I opened one of the good news papers , I was shocked to see in top corners with very little wordings about badminton whereas cricket got full page news. Very very unfortunate.
