It's a terrible campaign for JPN. Seeded in the top four but losing all their ties (if they lose to MAS). Of course, their opponents are all formidable, INA, NED, MAS, but still ...
As for MAS, beating NZL is not a big deal, so similarly if they lose to JPN, it's not such a great campaign after all, although they nearly took out DEN.
