Sorry the "Butet" in the case of the nick name of this player is surname and is not nice.
You are not offended if someone call you "Tomboy" ? I give you a example. You meet Robin7 and call him "hi Sissy" (or "Pondan"or "Banci") how do you thing that he will react ?

Correction in my previous sentence, Butet is not a surname.

You already said it yourself that it is the nickname of said player. If she's fine with it, why should it be an issue?

Guys, let's get back to the matches again before our posts get deleted.

LYD/JJS are just playing their first match together as a pair in this TC.

Looks like they are not "warmed" up yet as the Canadians are giving them some problems.

Negro is a term referring to people of Black African ancestry. Prior to the shift in the lexicon of American and worldwide classification of race and ethnicity in the late 1960s, the appellation was accepted as a normal neutral formal term both by those of African descent as well as non-African blacks. Now it is often considered an ethnic slur

Why I don't like Yong Dae:

Everytime I bring up badminton with my friends who are girls, they squeal and go YOOOOOOONG DAEEE IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUUUUUTE!!!!!!!!! and subsequently do the anime faint. Hence, I always stay away from the topic of badminton ;)

Tomboy is the least offensive, I've heard worst than that - and no, I'm not offended if someone called me tomboy = to some it means the girl is 'manly' enuf to be considered equal to a male.
It's definetely not considered as offensive as "sissy" or "pondon" cos it just means a girl who dress up/behaves like a guy. "Sissy" or "pondan" would imply the male is transexual or homosexual, tomboy doesnt denote the female is overly macho.

There are worse nick names, some call Zakry/Fairuz = the "dwarfs", CEH is nicknamed "fatty bum bum"

But I digress, since some would consider it offensive, I'll try to avoid 'tomboy'

Can anyone tell me the name of the Astro commentator? His English pronunciations suck and make me sick. He seems to have difficulty in pronouncing Dae, game, third, 13, 30 & etc....
