They are giving Zhang Nan/ Li Yinhui a really good workout in the round of 8 now-- Sikki is a MUCH better XD player than Li Yinhui and the Indians once had a NINE-point lead in the first game!

Then Chopra cracked with every kind of unforced error imaginable (going for low percentage shots I guess?) and things went awry...

But OMG-- the beautiful Malasian Disguised Back-hand Cross-court Defensive Shots... the Indian have learnt how to do it!!!

    The coach is Malaysian.
PJC/Sikki were on again off again in g2, Sikki started brightly then the shades got dull.
They managed to get back level at 14-14 like they were here to win, and within next 2 min were 5 points down. And not to mention ZN did nothing like "multi medalist ZN". And Sikki easily ousted LYH.
They have come a long way now but the wait from here on is unbearable. Looking forward to a breakthrough tourney.

Kenta is so quick on his feat and so ready to attack, it often seems he is exhausting a tad bit extra fuel every stroke.

They lack confidence. Self belief is important to win matches. They should have taken game 1. They will take time to improve. One more year should show their progress up or down.

Wang Tzu Wei's game and mannerism resemble Chou Tien Chen's.

Missed the part where Chai Biao/Hong Wei saved 6 GP in G2 and went on to win the deuces 22-20 and the match in two sets.

How can Emil Holst beat Indonesia's most talented Anthony Sinisuka Ginting? That's not fair.

Mia should've closed out G3 , Fitriani showed remarkable fighting spirit to win it coming from behind.

I guess anyone who plays Lin Dan nowadays will go all out, push him hard and drain as much of his energy as possible, other than hoping to catch him on a bad day which is becoming more frequent than before.

I've been following Mia right from the WJC in Peru, she's a fantastic player with lots of potential.
But unfortunately like most Jr players she also lacks the self confidence to finish off the game. We witnessed the same today, she won g1 in a dominating way, and was throughout ahead in g3. Congrats to Fitriani a well fought victory

The young man is ready to run allover the place for it. Actually, Lin Dan's anticipation is fantastic, but he's just not winning to run for it sometimes.
