    Some rematches for semifinal :

    x1 Towi/Lily v x4 Adcock/Bankier (looking forward to this match)

Taufik v Chen Jin (it depends on Taufik motivation)

Taufik Hidayat [10] vs Chen Jin [4] - I think Chen Jin will take this one to keep his chance of an Olympic spot. Let's see whether Taufik can prove me wrong.

    MD SF
Hendra A. Gunawan/Alvent Yulianto Chandra [5] vs Naoki Kawamae/Shoji Sato [6] - again, the Japanese pair has the edge. But I hope to see AG/Alvent lifting their first-title.

    XD SF
    Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir
[1] vs Chris Adcock/Imogen Bankier - this is a potential banana skin for the reigning All-England champion as they just survived another nail-biting finish this morning (HKG time), saving 2 match pts in the process! If they can win this, they may meet the CHN pair in the Final.

Good luck for INA players... :D

Aiooo, this Towi/Butet still not consistent enough, still easily threw away big lead like yesterday when leading 15-7 in 3rd set  eh? But it's ok since they have won AE title last week :p Good luck today... hope a revenge of WC semifinal defeat ;) Come on, pls more focus Towi.. cut down the silly errors :D

this is what Gillian Clark comment right after Towi/Butet won their AE title , "Well, all the question mark i haved about Tantowi Ahmad's temprament and how he would deal with the nerves ...."

He should cut down the errors and keep focus, then they could consistently challenge ZN/ZYL or JFN/CP.

On paper,Chen Jin may have the edge over Taufik, but if CJ starts thinking his OG hopes is revived then it might affect his mentality again - he really must let go and concentrate on playing badminton. I always believe for world class players of the same level, the mental aspect is oftentimes crucial; skills they can work extremely hard to acquire limited by their talents but the mind is something nobody can really train except oneself for which even the best coaches or psychologists can only give you pointers.

Apparently, WSX is back to her best when she was world no.1 (hope I didn't speak too soon)(and, here I go again, for goodness' sake, learn to smash). At the rate she's going, she should be the one mounting the winner's podium tomorrow, then I'd have a problem trying to suppress my heart from a-fluttering.:D

I think CJ can win this time. TH did give CJ a surprise last week. I doubt CJ will loss to TH consecutively. CJ will be more prepared tonight then last week. As Justin said he should let go about olympics qualification and just concentrate to show the world that he can beat TH with a right game plan.

    CJ - TH
Chen Jin played an amazing good first set vs Daren, otoh Daren almost won the second.
Taufik had 3 3set matches so far, but beat Du (chn) in straight sets...
I would bet on TH, but unfortunatly I had to see that he got taped on the lower leg during the match vs Shon Wan Ho, who gave him a hard fight. On the other hand he will be cheered by the crowd!! He is the crowd favourite after LCW and PG pulled out. And i don´t want to see an all CHN final tomorrow as LHI will have quite a hard time beating CL, but this is possible as well. Yesterday I was in Basel and I had the good feeling that crowd´s 2nd MS favourite is the other "grand old man".

I hope Saina makes it to the final, but the Japanse girl beat Bae quite easily but shouldn´t have the weapons to really threaten a well playing Saina!
IR played a very long match vs Sung and therefore I worry she has the stamina today to beat WS...
