Also see: http://www.swissopen.com/english/aktuell/wettkampf.php?showpublic=true The website and info is very good. Intresting that Ha tae Kwon is playing with another player in this tournament-lee young dae. And his partner whom he reached AE semi with (yim bang eun) is playing with Han sang Hoon. Anybody with anynews on this?
Good idea I think Ha is in there more as a tutor guiding the young ones which is essential since Kim Dong Moon, Lee Dong Soo, Yoo Yong Seng all retired after Olympic. I wish the same thing can be done in Malaysia, split up Chew Chun Eng and Choong Tan Fok and team them up with potential younsters.
I think Malaysia is aiming to keep as many seeded pairs for the upcoming WC as possible, as some of their star doubles players are injury prone its not time to be messing about. Maybe Sudirman cup we may see some pairs mixed around. Would be nice to see the old Choong and Lee partnership reunited Korea have already lost Kim Dong Moon, Lee and Yoo, Kim Yong Hyun...I don't think they have a lot of choice. Their youngsters already show much promise, just need some guidance and experience playing the top pairs IMO.
