I ZB is similar to ZJ but not the same. ZB has more court coverage & defensive capabilities than ZJ, but ZJ had greater smash, and possible a better mental strength (ZB seemed overawed in WC 07).

ENG pairs weaknesses are court coverage and fitness. This is exactly the He/Yu and ZB/GL strengths, so this query IMO can be answered quite simply. Even if ENG pairs get a game off CHN, CHN superior fitness will tell in rubber. Against INA pairs their strengths are skill, which ENG pairs are more comfortable at by playing more tactically.

I think the reason is probably because China has a good and large pool of players willing to sacrifice to make it whereas Malaysians are far and a few (parents are more keen to send their players to universities). We are no different from England or others. To get players like LCW, WCH, Hafix (even tho considered 'gone'), Malaysia has done well. Can you imagine us not wanting to spoil these players if they are good ?

AE report for you, Swiss open for NSC & BAM mah.

No need, Hafiz not going OG, so not in the list that have to explain in next meeting, :D:D

As I replied earlier, normal-lah, must explain & account, this time more anxious cos of upcoming OG. I read what NSC Director & BAM President say also feel the tension. This will continue to heighten & increase till OG

Yes, every player who dominated has had this problem at some point. It is the great players who overcome this. Chen Hong for example never overcame it. Lin is making his way to overcoming it (he has been the best plaer consistently with a few tournament aberrations excepted for the past 4 years.

No. It is offered as a satellite broadcast only -u need to use a decoder. The only way is to use a dish to train on the signal and hopefully receive but the satellite covers only this region I suspect.

I wouldn't expect any MAS players to medal in that case.

I actually disagree here. ZJ in 05 maybe, but ZJ in 00,01 is actually pretty strong in defence, and is much fitter than ZB now.
