    Sameer did it!
22-20 and yet another victory against a SF and more established player! He was 20-19 down but showed good courage and sealed it quickly

AJ is a relax type player and this kinda style where you dictate the match very less you must have the self belief and mental toughness which he is lacking these days! If he doesn't keep his opp at bay you never know he'll be stunned in R2 itslef

OTOH liu/Qiu won after trailing throughout, showing CHN traits! I love the way almost every CHN player can comeback anytime

Yet another early exit for AJ! I think it's time that the Ind coaches remove him from MS2 contention

Sameer has had a meteoric rise since last couple of month. At this rate, he should surpass all Indian players soon. I was kinda expecting him to beat WZM against all odds, especially considering his recent performances. And he didnt disappoint.

    AJ performs only in India.

Its time HSP get his stuff right.

Is there any chance sameer representing india at the olympics, irrespective of the rankings?

ZZ unable to repeat his second glory against CTC as he 'ran out of gas' in 2nd & 3rd game, for CTC he is fortunate to win as he knew ZZ will get tired and low stamina...

Sai praneeth vs CTC will be interesting. CTC has an edge but Sai is on high after his performance against LCW.

Sameer vs Tanongsak should be a good duel. Odds favour Sameer as he is in awesome form.

Tago vs Zwiebler should be a good duel too. Difficult to predict the winner. I will go with Tago.

Considering the draw, it is possible for young Antonsen to go up to the semis.

The lower half of the draw is considerably stronger.
