    Thanks for pointing that out. That's why I was asking the question that whether other players/pairs did this before.

    I can understand why KKK/TBH didn't apply the strategy during KO. Such a training strategy (which is always risky because they might miss the golden opportunity to wrap up the match in 2nd game and then uexpectedly being defeated in the rubber) is only applicable to ellite, confident players/pairs who are consistently good and an unexpected loss due to the application of the strategy won't jeopardize their world rankings too much. KKK/TBH was ranked No. 50-ish prior to KO and was expecting to play qualifying rounds even at AE and SO. They had to go all the way out to earn as many ranking points as possible in order to be qualified for WC in time. Now that they are at a comfortable position to join the Top-10 (even if they lost in the SO qf, they could still make it in the next SS tournament), they could afford to miss the SO title by playing the trick.

    btw..anyone knows whether RTM1 will broadcast the MD later?? I'd check its programme but there's no sigh of it..
