KKK/TBH is hot favourites tonight.. just my personal opinion! hope they win it in straight set. but nice to see them practising their defence in the second set and win convincingly in the third set.

Oh Yeah, i might be feeling a little bit EMOTIONAL. By the way, in a BC doesnt totally means we totally need to show all our IQ here, but most importantly our EQ here. Yup, it is not the end of the world, but ALWAYS ALWAYS back up with FACTS in every single statement, otherwise it will OFFEND a lot of people. NO, Lin Dan DID NOT lose "MANY MATCHES" in the past 12 MONTHS. Here you go :

    15 Jan 2006 -YONEX GERMAN OPEN 2006 Semi-Finalist

22 Jan 2006 -YONEX ALL ENGLAND OPEN 2006 Winner

    12 Mar 2006 -CHINA MASTERS 2006 Semi-Finalist

    18 Jun 2006 -PROTON MALAYSIA OPEN 2006 Runner-Up

25 Jun 2006 -CHINESE TAIPEI OPEN 2006 Winner

23 Jul 2006 -Macau Open Championship 2006 Winner

02 Sep 2006 -YONEX SUNRISE HONG KONG OPEN 2006 –Winner

    24 Sep 2006 -WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2006 Winner

15 Oct 2006 -YONEX JAPAN OPEN 2006 Winner

    22 Oct 2006 -CHINA OPEN 2006 Semi-Finalist

28 Jan 2007 -YONEX KOREA OPEN SUPER SERIES Winner

04 Mar 2007 -YONEX GERMAN OPEN 2007 Winner

11 Mar 2007 -YONEX ALL ENGLAND SUPER SERIES Winner

How would a player WILL BE ABLE to retain a WORLD TITLE if he / she does NOT consistently WIN in a tournament. Nevertheless, there is no need to to elaborate so much here, as this is not an exam. I think you have some feelings towards certain players. Anyway, be intelligent as u can. And, lastly, dont ever quote people's statement without any EQ ANYMORE.

No man, its all depends on how u see it. I think Sony is up to a certain level all the time

His best past achievement (excluding minor tournaments):-

    02 Apr 2006 -Asian Badminton Championships 2006 – Quarter-Finalist
    11 Sep 2005 -Asian Championships 2005 – Winner
    26 Apr 2004 -Asian Championships 2004 – Runner-Up
    17 Nov 2002 -JVC Asian Champs 2002 – Winner

I think it doesnt matter if u lose to a lower-ranking player as long as u maintain up to Q.Final. Some might have different point of views though

But KKK/TBH had to play in rubber games most of the time in the SO.Lethargy, perharps?

If the Chinese pair loses again this time round, it will probably months or even more than a year for them to recover from their mental block when they face KKK/TBH again in the future. That's why I believe the LYB and co. will psycho them to go all the way out to get even this time round.

Those who have seen the film series of ROCKY would know what I mean - the no-hoper Rocky Balboa beat world champion Apollo Creed in ROCKY; agonized Apollo argues that Rocky wins by sheer luck and challenges him in ROCKY II; Rocky beat Apollo again and Apollo decides to give up challenging Rocky for good.

I tend to disagree with you totally. I do not believe the Chinese coaches did not psycho Cai-Fu into beating KKK/TBH in the AE 2007 - it was to no avail. as we had witnessed.

And it is because of this (that it did not work before) that I believe it would be hard for them to be pysho'ed again and expect it to work this time. It is not a mental block in this case as you suggested, KKK/TBH play better badminton than the Chinese (simply much faster and more finesse).

BTW, you are badly influenced by movies which are not real stuff --- the real thing is Stallone who plays Rocky is in trouble in Melbourne, caught with some banned stuff

Sounds you're very love CHN. Maybe major BC members 'hate' China because the Great Wall is too strong and hard to give other countries to taste victorious. But in sport world, sportivity is number one and for us all badminton fans just enjoy this game whoever will out as a winner!

XD -- Can INA flag flying high in this opening match of final show today??

    WS -- Absolutely ZN

MS -- wanna say, Simon RuaaRRR biasa! He showed brilliant performance plus good fortune (because LD gave up in 2nd set and I think this Chinese ace really injured) yesterday. Ayo Simon, selangkah lagi buat jadi juara. Just do it!

    WD -- Not sure.

MD -- tetep Boleh, KKK/TBH as Rexy's masterpiece

    Good Luck Indonesia!

you sorta forgot his loss to Taufik in the Asian Games, and his loss to Park sun Suwang (him, right?) in the second round of the MO07

    either way, that's 4-5 lost matches in a year...how bad is that?:p

Strangely, you copied your entire reply for another thread and re-post it here, while I have already replied to you above reply in that thread. Did you overlook my reply?

yes, MD is the last match. save the best for last. KKK/TBH plays in rubber set, perhaps it is their strategy. tire their opponent in 2nd set. CW/TG kept smashing in the 2nd game yesterday. KKK/TBH kept lifting the shuttle and practising their defence. in the 3rd set, CW/TG simply do not have the stamina and speed to match KKK/TBH.
