    X-Ball's comments

I like the way X-Ball said it "the kingpins of doubles" hahaha... but let's not put pressure on them. If they are good, they will be. People can rise up fast, but also can drop fast if others catch up or they lose momemtum. Anything can happen. So, let's just support them and motivate them.

Zhang Ning will officially be #1 again when the next rankings is released.

I think it's a pity that Simon Santoso is a bit too small. He has to scurry around to retrieve the shots, somewhat like Shoji Sato. He can still be a good player, but his potential is limited by his height.

Looks like Simon 'froze' during the finals yesterday. He does not have much experience playing in finals unlike Taufik.

Its a very good opportunity for this young Malaysian champion pair to be tested in the IO and to be able to overcome the vocal enthusiasm of the local Indonesian supporters and yet emerge as champions once again.

A rare chance indeed and one which should not be allowed to slip by! For it has been reported time and again that if you are able to survive the badminton fanaticism of the Indonesians on home soil then you can survive all the other world venues and their ardent supporters :D

Everywhere KKK/TBH go, there will surely be a crowd. Fans and supporters. Right?

i can't believe that i'm as tall as simon..lol... the problem with simon yesterday was that he buckled down under pressure... he committed ALOT of errors.. and his lifts weren't also high enough.. leading to relentless smashes by CJ... He was a shadow of his form when he fought CY and LD as commentator (clark) said... anyhow, i was amazed with SS's drive defense... because he's relatively small, he won many drives with CJ - almost the only source of his points...:D
