Mostly home players in this tourney, with a couple of MAS (from BJSS?) and INA players (from PB Djarum) in BS and BD.

    Lim Chi Wing
    Vincent Phuah Cheng Wei

    - these 2 pairs are expected to go far...hopefully winning the BD title.

Yantoni/Tedi passed their first test comfortably. QF and SF will be played today and hopefully by the end of the day, it will be all-INA Final in BD tomorrow.

    BD QF
    Hantoro/Arsya Isnanu Ardi Putra
    [1] vs Abhisekh Kulkarni/Sharon Raphael

For MAS, only Ai Wei Jian [2] is playing and he's also through to the QF, facing Harsheel Dani
Gangadhar Rao/Sanyam Sukhla vs Yantoni Edy Saputra/Tedi Supriadi [2]

Another step towards an all-INA Final as both Djarum pairs beat their Indian opponents in the QF to reach the last 4.

    BD SF
    Hantoro/Arsya Isnanu Ardi Putra
    [1] vs Chirag Sen/Laa Talar

    T. Hema Nagendra Babu/Gopi Raju vs Yantoni Edy Saputra/Tedi Supriadi [2]

Ai Wei Jian of MAS lost in the QF.

Mission accomplished as both INA pairs progress to the Final today. Yantoni/Tedi were stretched to 3 sets though, while Hantoro/Arsya won comfortably.

    BD FINAL
    Hantoro/Arsya Isnanu Ardi Putra
[1] vs Yantoni Edy Saputra/Tedi Supriadi [2] - these 2 BD pairs will be prepared for AJC & WJC 2013. Their domestic and international records are almost similar, with 1 Sirnas title each. Hantoro/Arsya have the slight edge though, having beaten their younger compatriot in the Astec-Specs Junior Challenge and Sirnas Jakarta 2012. Both pairs will rise up to the top 50 by end of next week.

The challenge will come next week in the Maybank Malaysia International Youth U19 Badminton Championships 2012. Both will be seeded 2nd and 3rd respectively, below Edi Subaktiar/Arya Maulana Aldiartama. Yet, I am not sure if they can reach their seeded position , i.e. at least SF.

If Hantoro/Arsya will beat either the Thai or MAS opponent in R32, they are scheduled to meet Aldo Abdillah/Alfian Sangaji in R16, followed by possibly Hafiz Faisal/Putra Eka Rhoma [5] in the QF.

For Tedi/Yantoni, they will be pitted against the more experienced Lee Chun Hei/Ng Ka Long [6] in the QF.

As expected, Hantoro/Arsya Isnanu Ardi Putra lift their first international title as they beat their juniors Tedi Supriadi/Yantoni Edy Saputra in straight-sets 21-17, 21-13.
