Super Series Master Finals 2008 - Semi-Finals (Day 3 - 20th Dec)

Not unexpected with Kido's condition. Personally, I'm surprised they can force rubbers with both LYD/JJS and KKK/TBH.

I have predicted in the first page that they are likely to lose today...but I was hoping for a small miracle

Kido should perhaps rest completely, like after the Thomas Cup when the pair skipped the SS Open and lost meekly to Tony/Candra in the INA Open QF, which was supposed to be last tourney before Beijing Olympics. The rest period proved to be quite valuable for them.

So, they should just skip the Copenhagen Masters and recuperate. It's not even confirmed that they will participate in the MAS and KOR SS. The big one will be the All-England 2009 in March.

Mm! Let's see what we have till now!

INA has 1 rep each in WD and XD. Good. :)

MK/HS down. Ouch. Congrats to LYD/JJS as they've officially mastered INA style.
And with this, we can proudly say that LYD/JJS is at LV 100, mastering all skill and magic, and equipped with strongest sword and armor.

Sony was decimated. A little disappointed. :(

And now, the Bad Boy of INA. 5-21 in 1st game. Wow. ;)

It's all right. Winning and losing are part of sports anyway. A defeat to these 2 pairs will remind them that they have to improve themselves to win the remaining major titles like the All-England and Asian Games Gold. Sigit Pamungkas will have to bear this task as always...just like when they prepare for the Olympics this year.

They have shown in the past that they redeem themselves in the most crucial matches, like in the World Championships 2007 and Olympics Games 2008 ;) It's probably better that they are the underdogs as they turned out to be the big winner at the end
Please don't say that. It probably will touch someone's raw nerves... ;)

Usually injuries come with over-playing... needs to keep the basics..
Dad Taufik can't play like single young datuk...
