They must be kicking themselves really hard right now. They thought would have cost them 20/40k to let INA’s MD2 in thus have a good chance to see the end of Kido/Setiawan. Little do they know that it was only 10k! If they get knock out of the OLY by Kido/Setiawan next year that 10k will haunt the rest of their life.
Kido/Setiawan are championship material. The other 2 pairs (either Bona/Shsan or Hendra/Alvent) still far from that. Once again, it's the stupid ranking system and regulation eliminating the chance of real championship candidates. Therefore, Olympics or Grand slam finals are less valuable than any open tournaments.
