It is a courtesy to inform spectators why a walkover is given

    .
I have said much about this matter before; If walkovers are given, reasons must be given to the tournament referee. And an announcement should be made at the tournament venue at the time when the match is to be held.

It is a courtesy to inform paying spectators why a walkover is given. Some spectators could have bought tickets just to watch that match.

not only spectators with tickets :D

what about we bcers here glued to the thread days before.lol

anyway, don't blame lin dan and as you mentioned blamed on the bosses

but i still can't understand why cba don't issue a press statement about their players' withdrawal.

it doesn't matter whether its an excuse or a reason because

we know who to blame :D and

spectators know when to sell their remaining tickets :) and

bcers know when to skip which thread :D :)

Not talking about this thread's title (subject matter) anymore

    .
I apologise that I have not noticed that we are not talking about this thread title: 2010 SSMF anymore.

I usually tune into a thread which talks about a subject matter that I like. Here, it looks like we have moved away from the title/subject discussion.:eek::eek:

Guess we all know that CHN team never treat this Super Series, ESP it's grand finals, as a super serious matter... :D

Regarding the discrepancy in the WR points given for the SSMF and the infos shown on BWF's website, this is the explanation i was given:
"At the last council meeting, WR points for the SS Final and Premiers had been adjusted, winners receive 11,000 points. We will let the office to check the website and adjust according to the newly approved."

The WR points given for the recently ended SSMF to all the participants are correct and they will be the same for the Premier Super Series (winners get 11,000 pts. and so forth). However, the infos haven't been updated.
So, check back @ the BWF website in a bit for the new updated infos.
