Looks like Starhub has live coverage in Singapore from day 1, + same day telecast of overlapping matches.

    Hats off...

In Korea, we're even getting some Sudirman coverage. MBC is taking it over from SBS, though. They are showing Korea vs. England only, of course. KOR vs. DEN is supposed to be taped (they must also have cameras on the court not labelled 'TV') and there are no time slots set aside for playoffs. Heaven forbid they should even think of pre-empting a few of their 66h of baseball coverage to show a real sport when they can't even be sure Korea will be playing. Amazing they are planning to show a little in prime time. Usually, all 3 'sports' stations are showing baseball all evening every evening for this half of the year.

    May 23rd - 2-5PM (KOR vs. ENG - live)
    May 23rd - 8-10PM (KOR vs. ENG - taped)
May 26th - 3:30-5PM (KOR vs. DEN - taped highlights)

I would think that all countries in Group 1 would have some TV coverage

    .
For us in Australia, there will be no TV coverage of the 2011 Sudirman Cup at all. This is expected because Australia is not in Group 1.:eek::eek:

I would think that all countries in Group 1 would have some TV coverage. If not, I hope BCers in these countries would complain to their TV networks. ;););)

Well, this is the first time in my memory that Korea has had coverage, and of course there was none for the Uber Cup last year, even taped. But hey, we had All England broadcasts for the first time in my memory too, this year, and now a smattering of Sudirman. Things are looking up! How's the rest of...well...Group 1, at least? Anyone care to comment from Thailand, Russia, Japan, Germany, etc.?

There is no way England and Germany will have even a second of tv broadcast . Wouldn't expect it for Russia either ...

Denmark - TV2Sport (subscription channel; no there are no free streams available illegaly either)

    Sunday 22/05: Denmark v England 1PM-6PM
    Thursday 26/05: 1.30PM-6PM
    Friday 27/05: 1.30PM-6PM
Saturday 28/05: 7AM-12AM + 1.30PM-3.10PM (cut short for live handball as always)
Monday 30/05: 6.30PM-8PM (live football on sunday of course ;))

Why are they showing 2 matches of Hong Kong in Group 2?? And not even Malaysia v Russia? They are even broadcasting Canada v Singapore :p

(and indeed nothing broadcasted in Russia as far as their group games are concerned, looks like they will show a semi and the final)
