    Sudirman Cup Results - Two good wins for Aussie Team
    The Aussie Team has had two good wins (South Africa 5 – 0 and Peru 4 – 1) and a loss to France yesterday (1 – 4). The Aussies play Estonia today who came second in Group 4A. See below for Aussie results.

    France vs Australia was THE match in group 4.
    I admit I didn't think France would play so well and beat Australia 4-1.
    Well, good luck to Australia in two years time! :)

    Hi Seven,

    Thanks. France played well and deserved the victory and promotion. On the other hand, with no disrespect to France, I am most disppointed with Aussie. Mixed Doubles was a joke and other doubles should have been better!

    Consolation win against Estonia doesn't matter on moves us up one position.

    This enforces that we are going no where, same result as 2003, after missing out on 2001!

    In 1991 we were ranked 19, in 2003 we are ranked 27 (New Zealand are ranked 19) in 1991 France were ranked 31, now they will be ranked 24 after promotion.

    Well said about our doubles...I'm very disappointed too. We aren't going anywhere soon.
