Hey JR, After being pretty seriously overtrained and not having important matches for a couple of months, I’m now building up some basic strength and conditioning to start at the beginning phase of my periodization again. Well, I had to take a good rest first. I wonder if you could give any advice on what kinds of strength-, conditioning- and maybe on-court training to do to get yourself ready for the more intensive training and the important matches. I’m also curious if you do something like the Chinese team did at the beginning of the year, having a few months with no (or perhaps very little) matches, so you can build up your physique again.
