I have never see a lot of withdraw and walkover in one tournament.

    WD:
walkover : 1st seeded Du jing/Yu yang (CHN) and 2nd seeded Zhang/Wei (CHN)
    MD:
walkover: 5th seeded Guo/Xie (CHN) and 6th seeded Ikeda/sakamoto (JPN)
    WS:
walkover : Jiang (CHN), Hirose (JPN), Wong MC (MAS)
    MS:
walkover : 1st seeded Lee CW (MAS), Peter HD (DEN), 2nd seeded Lin D (CHN)

Mostly even from China as home ground, six players walkover, I smell some thing goes wrong with this tournament?

any one know he reason those players walkover??
why they walkover after their name registered?
if they walkover before; something like those 2 WD who directly go for semis is not happen, as I count only 8 pairs come for WD event, so actually the tournament official can start the WD event from QF.
I so frustated with this event

Lin has stated he isn't playing till october and peter is home awaiting the birth of his child (congrats peter!) most are not playing because of injury or just pure having a break. they're human too ;)

you can't really force people to play if they don't wanted to.
the truth is it still carries the same price money and world ranking points for a super series.
    easy picking for some.
