    M/Q report version 1 (updated 27th March 2015) : http://www.bwfbadminton.org/file.aspx?id=626560&dl=1

    DRAW date : 7th April 2015

The entry list contains combination of mediocre players with young talents who need some exposures to add their experience, also notable veteran Lee Hyun Il as well. Lots of INA and MAS shuttlers, CHN registered their future players like He Bingjiao, double specialist Chen Qingchen, World Junior Champion Lin Guipu, Li Junhui/Liu Yuchen, etc.

Good to see that LYB is true to his words and starts to send the youngsters to tournaments. In addition to HBJ, the super exciting pair of ZSW/CQC should be a joy to watch.

Large contingent of Chinese youngster will also be in next week's Osaka IC.

But CHN is missing the junior YOG champion Shi Yuqi. Any news of him, finishing his studies or something?

I'm so looking forward to watching He Bingjiao, Chen Yufei, Zeng Siwei/Chen Qingchen, Qiao Bin, Liu Yuchen/Li Junhui, and also Chen Qingchen's partnership with Jia Yifan in WD and Zeng Siwei's partnership with Huang Kaixiang in MD.

Does anyone know why Jonatan Christie, Ihsan Maulana Mostofa, Firman Abdul Kholik and Anthony Ginting have been withdrawn from this event? I was looking forward to watching them play.

If I'm not mistaken, I once read on PBSI site news that those quartet MS youngsters are included in the Sudirman Cup team nomination which its preparation is coinciding with this event. So they are withdrawn from this event. But I'm quite surprise after had a look on the draw that Simon Santoso is still listed there. Hmmm… I'm afraid it means that Simon Santoso won't be included in the team. I hope I'm wrong.

This was reported in The Star, too, right after Rexy told Reuters about PBSI's frustration with Santoso and Sugiarto. The first M&Q report for New Zealand came out before those articles and the 2nd version came out a few days later and reflected the decision to use the young players in the Sudirman.

Using the young players for Sudirman cup is a good decision I think, if they keep improving I think Indonesia has got a good chance of winning Thomas cup in the future.

Well if Manu and his partner start displaying a bit of consistency and start raising their games like Leander or Jwala for team events, we can actually win TC in the near future, however incredulous it may sound. I know there's 1 man (PG) who actively targets and lusts for it.
