Ego?? what ego? more like nerves. YKB, Gan/Lin are 1st time to SEA Games though they're seniors. And they know very well there will be bashing, criticism from all quarters if they were to lose.

And as I've said in the other thread, they're sent cos they're supposedly the weakest in senior men's team. The better ones gear up for OG.

Cheer up, I'm happy Msia won gold in other events that we havent won for long time, like 4 X 400 men's relay.

Same here wilfred. They never won anything of significance (I didnt count Tan CS, he didnt play & still in back-up squad), so no expectations. No expectations, No disappointmens.

it should be hello or hi rite?hey..too harsh honey.

i mean they are not born in singapore.so it should be considered as non-locals.but i do agree, singapore did a great job in building their athletes.locals n non-locals.no doubt.

yuan yu fang has been considered as malaysian.im proud of her.really proud.
but yet,we always said.the china-borned athlete....just to state the fact.shes from china.she was borned there.she is now malaysian but we have never forget that she is from china.

the issue is clear.they are non-locals.i have never said they are not singaporean.they are ur people.yu fang is my people.how should i doubt it?

    n well done singapore.everything that u got now,u deserve them.top 3 in seagames n left malaysia behind(sad to say).good job.

n chris, sorry if im i've said something that look that i've downgrading singapore.it has never lingering in my mind n i've never intended to post such things here.
