Yao Lei's dad is actually Jiangsu team's (one of the strongest team) coach. Ma Jin, Cheng Shu, Zhao Tingting and etc were trained under him when they were young.

Guess what? Sony has a chance to win back-to-back titles in Indonesia. There might be a repeat match against Lee Chong Wei in the semi-finals though, see whether he can rise to the occasion on home ground :)
And maybe Simon in the finals.

The Danes must be careful not to be too complacent. Remember how LCW & LL lost?

    Cr*p, I almost quote that 10 digit thingy. :D
    Wonder how's the 10-digits scoreline, 1 trillion - 20?

Laybourn/Rytter-Juhl are just too quick for Nova/Butet.

Any loose serve or return is easily pounced by the Danes. I will be very very surprised if Nova/Butet can turn this around.

This Singapore Open is so nice, all the title winners are from different countries:

    WS: India
    MD: Chinese Taipei
    MS: Indonesia
    WD: Singapore
    XD: Denmark

    1 title each for
    INA (MS),
    IND (WS),
    TPE (MD),
    SIN (WD) &
    DEN (XD)!

KOR & MAS still have to work harder @ Indonesia Open next week!

Bye2....Thomas Laybourn/Kamilla Rytter-Juhl continue their dominance over Nova/Butet with yet another convincing win.

At least Team INA goes home with one title....not bad.

The Danes winning strategy: after losing a point, delay the serve as long as possible. Then go for a winning serve return :D

MAS same case... only got hope for MS and MD in the Indonesia Open. But MD they face Ko/Yoo in the QF and LCW has quite a chance crash out to either Hayom or Sony.
