Lol Yeah perhaps Boonsak is the good bet on this one but I'm still convinced Sony is stronger, don't know why..
from the semis: The S'pore WD ladies' win was a bit of surprise..but then they might be carrying their momentum from last week's win in India Open.. The match between Gade vs. Boonsak match could've gone either way.. The CHN TPE MD's win was also a bit of a surprise, in straight games mind you, and the fastest of all 10 matches.. Lu Lan seemed to run out of gas.. TaiTY might end up as the fittest of the ladies players in this tourney..she'll be playing in her 8th match..
If Tai Tzu Ying win in this finale, she will be the youngest player who win SS title in WS. But it will be tough task for her since Saina's performance is amazing in this tournament

My predictions: MS - 50:50 but I'm rooting for Sony. WS - Saina looks strong but Tai Tzu Ying is also good. I think Saina will win though. MD - USA uncles to win. They played really well yesterday, while Fang/Lee won against off-form Kido/Setiawan, so I don't know how good they actually are yet. WD - I think Kim/Lee is too strong for Yao/Sari, but with all the support, Yao/Sari's fighting spirit may help them win the title. XD - I'm rooting for Nova/Lilyana but looking at their SF performance, Laybourn/Juhl seems stronger.
Anyone thinks Singapore SS is a little like an underdog tournament? (2007 Boonsak Ponsana, 2009 NTM upset LCW, 2010 TTY reach final, etc.)
There are many free tickets given away due to world cup. Thats why no one posting here. The locals are not very keen to participate in this forum. Mainly malaysians and indonesian and the good old USA.... I will be at the stadium also. Free ticket given.
