    I thought so too...too bad...

    Intersting match ups :

Boonsak Ponsana v Peter H Gade
Saina Nehwal v Lu Lan ( I think Saina has a great chance here)
    Mel/Greysia v Lee Hyo Jung/Kim Min Jung
    Laybourn/Juhl v Hendra/Vita (Danish pair to final)
    Ko SH/Yoo YS v Tony/Howard (hmm...)

There are 6 matches on court 1. I don't think they will show live all the matches.

A lot of upsets, most notably Boe/Morgensen and KKK/TBH.

MS singles Sony should advanced to finals, Boonsak vs Gade would be excellent for spectators.

Surprised to see so many Taiwanese players in a Super series semi-finals.

TaiTY's biggest win in this tourney was against Eriko; was that their first meeting ever?..but give credit to Tai for making it this far considering she played from the WS Qualification Rd. and then played in the WD event as well (her youth might play a bit of factor in lasting this long)...

*You should sing for her as she is celebrating her sweet 17th birthday..;)

..imo, those names/players aren't really "household"/big names in the WS field, at least not yet. I think Eriko is the first "household"/big name she has beaten..
Now, if Tai Tzu Ying should meet & can upset that future baddy-goddess from THA, next yr in the WJC, then i will really pay attention..

Tai Tzu Ying looks like a good prospect to kick Ratchanok Intanon off her throne if she plays as consistent as this all the time. All the best to her! Hope to see her in the finals!

Good luck to my neigbours Indonesia and Singapore. But most of all, I'm gonna support:

    Boonsak Ponsana

    What a lazy prediction.:p

Ko/Yoo defeated Howard/Tony in straight games @ Korea 2010. The Koreans have not lost a game en route to the SF beating the likes of Koo/Tan and Yonathan/Rian.
Saina beat Lu Lan in straight games @ Indonesia 2009. From the way Saina beat WMC and LXR plus Lu Lan almost got beaten by Judith, Saina should win.
Kim/Lee and Meiliana/Greysia have not met. You probably right on this one.
Hendra/Vita beat Thomas/Kamilla in straight games @ Japan 2009. But I'm rooting for the Danes simply because they have not lost a game so far.
Nova/Liliyana and Chen/Cheng have never faced off. The Taiwanese duo have beaten Zheng/Ma in straight games @ Swiss 2010 and the Indonesians have been shaky. I think the hard smashing Chen has a chance of upsetting the top seeds.
Cheng/Chien beat Yao/Sari @ India GP Gold 2008. The Singaporeans improved a lot since their last meeting but I think the Taiwanese will prevail again.
Sony beat Kashyap @ Philippines Open 2007. If Kashyap can play like how he beat Tien Minh, this should be an interesting match. But Sony still has the edge.
Kido/Setiawan leads the H2H 3-2 with Fang/Lee winning the last encounter @ China Open 2009 in 3 games. Beating Mathias/Carsten should have given Fang/Lee a confidence boost. But I think it will go into the distance in favor of the Indonesians.
Bae vs Tai. The battle between 2 underdogs. I think I have go with Bae in 2.

The predictions are based on my own analysis, please do not quote me if the results turn out otherwise! :p

Peter is tied with Boonsak @ 2-2 in H2H with the Thai winning the last two encounters @ Malaysia 2010 and China Masters 2009. All their previous meetings lasted in 3 games with their first in 1998:eek:. Tough call. Okay. Peter in 3.
