Hope he do not get dejected when everything he expected goes in the opposite direction.

I have already stated that Kento Momota is my favourite badminton player and have given my reasons for this in my earlier thread.

Does that make me his fan?

    Unreservedly.

Am I a fanboy because of my profile picture being that of Kento?

Only if anyone who puts up a picture of their favourite player from any sport on their profiles is also considered to be so.

Do I lavish praise upon Kento Momota in a completely subjective way?

If one checks through all my posts in relation to him, it will become apparent that I give praise where praise is due and where I believe I see room for improvement in his performance, I make it abundantly clear what I believe needs to be changed.

By so doing, I employ an objective, analytical approach to my posting about my favourite badminton player.

This is precisely why fanboys/fangirls are so acidic towards me on here and on the 'Kento Momota' thread but that is their right and I respect that.

In that case, he should be just as analytical as I am about Kento Momota when commenting about his own favourite player.

Can we stop talking about KM in this thread? It has gone out of topic. The mods can consider to lock this thread if this continues.

I won't use the word analytical to describe it.

Perhaps but Justin L is palpably much more effusive.

I am hurt. I thought you were gonna say Zhang Nan.:p

I must have some memory lapses here, I don't remember I have ever posted long paragraph about Kevin on how fluid his play or how solid or error-less his game or how saintly he was though. My command of English or in any language aren't that good. lol

Oh in minions thread. That's different haha
Well you must admit the games he brought along with his cheekiness or in your word "cockiness" are usually irresistibly good. But I am not that blinded. You may count how many times I've called him an ar$e too. :D:D

^-^ I think nobody was over-rated Nishimoto, Nishimoto still tries to get his first title in MS, Momota has 250 pages on his thread, Nishimoto has just 3 pages and half of it was posted by me. The reason for Nishimoto thread was created is a news that mention his involvement in "casino scandal".

Badminton is more competitive nowadays, Nishimoto was still struggling to step in top 10

Everybody who appreciate Nishimoto please raise your hand ^-^

p/s: Even I'm a fan, I don't know much Nishimoto's career, just know him from "mixed team championship 2017 in VietNam", in this tournament Nishimoto almost lost to Shi Yuqi but comebacked stronger by supporting of spectators and won at the end of game 2.

What a coincidence! the match details was quite similar to the result of Momota vs Ginting at Singapore Open:

10-21, 21-19 and 21-17 was the result of the match between Nishimoto vs Shi Yuqi. In this time Nishimoto was ranked 60 and Shi Yuqi was ranked 12.

I don't know everything about Nishimoto before his 23 years old, or, more precisely before mixed team championship 2017 in Vietnam.

Momota was talent, Nishimoto was a hard practicing person.

Here is the match between Nishimoto vs Shi Yuqi. (on 51:50)

Don't be so disheartened by the numbers. I'm sure you are more than capable to create 100 pages easily single-handedly ^-^
