Hello everyone, I've come across this website originated from Hong Kong but now based in the US while shopping for a new racket and the price seems fair but I am still concerned about the quality of the products and the service. I've seen another thread that also asked for some reviews on this website way back in 2008. The reviews are positive, but since I has been a long time I just wonder if the site is still trustworthy? Cheers, Thanks in advance!
Did u check out the HK badminton shops listing? Right on this section, Marketplace. If u read it u don't need to ask these questions. Read the 1st n last page (May2016), e78 was on those
Visited the shop 5 weeks ago in Hong Kong. They have the .us Domain for much longer. Dealing with Mr. Chan is always a pleasure. You can't go wrong. Superb service. Regardless if instore or dealing online.
I see, I am new so I'm not really familiar with all the sections and I just want the most recent opinions on the shop. My apology for not checking. Thanks for the reply!
u can ask any racket from Mr.Chen and he will buy for us i am collecting limited edition racket and i use to order from him only
Do you happen to have Mr. Chen's email address? I tried to email 2 email addresses, one available on the site "e78shop@e78.com.hk" and one that sent me an email after my registration "e78shop@e78.us"; and I have received no replies so far.
What about having just a little bit of patience? e78shop@e78.us is the correct address. Mr. Chan normally replies within less than 24 hours but as you have read, he has an actual shop to run in parallel and he doesn't spend his whole day in front of a computer.
I suppose he might have other people to help him manage the store right? Like his employees; so I just assume that someone else might be in charge of the customer service? And I was worried because the email address placed on the website and the one used to send me the email is not the same.
I suppose a bit of patience is needed for a small business that many times is single handed and in a language that would the second language and in a commercial shop that has other customers to take care of. Have a bit of patience.
He didnt hv any employees when i was there, 2-3yrs ago. Also, he did not speak English well. He relied on smone to help him reply English emails. Look @ his FB pages, almost no English.
I was there. He run a little store in a flat. Absolute common in HK to run badminton stores in a flat-like enviroment. Room is nowhere as expensive as in HK. Be patient. He don't run a multi-million empire and xmas time is instore like hell. Also the shops are opened close to the night in HK. Just be patient and give him time.
Did you ever get a reply? Does he ship to Canada? And are there any customs duties if anyone has ever had stuff shipped to Canada knows from him
